Namibian Dolphin Project

The Namibian Dolphin Project was established in 2008 and now forms the core flagship project of the Sea Search group. We run research and education activities from our base in Walvis Bay

  • Research & Conservation

As a conservation organisation, we aim to generate accurate and current information on whales, dolphins, seals, and turtles that can be used to educate the public and industry, and play a role in mitigating human impacts on the environment.

Outreach and Science Communicaiton are essential to sharing our research findings. We do this through social media pages, our Marine Education Centre and special events
