OK – maybe interpretative dance isn’t our thing…we focus more on the research side of things.  But we have fun where we can and actually I think we do a pretty solid job on our infographics and science communication work – but we’re always learning and always happy to collaborate if you are an artist who wants to link with science.

 

aj randalls aka https://www.instagram.com/pint_of_angry_bees/  has used some of our dolphin images for stickers which you can buy from her shop.

We collaborated with Clare Homewood aka https://www.instagram.com/carecreative__/  to bring participatory art into the 3rd African Bioacoustics Community held at Kruger park in 2022 and she’s also developing some murals off our images

 

The photo below is Aaron, Tess, Gui and Jack having a day off in Maputo during a layover on the way back from a “hard week” of crawling through bushes, dropping hydrophones, photographing bugs,recording whales singing and looking for humpback dolphins up at Ilha de Fogo – Fire Island Conservation  where we are helping do a biodiversity assessment as we set up a potential new field site there. They were attempting to spell out SSRC…  did they nail it??
