Clare Homewood
Collaborating Artist
Clare has been working with Sea Search, especially through the African Bioacoustics Community to lead several aspects of the design and out reach of that initiative.
Clare’s work with the “Listening for Life” Project includes having completed a number of large murals in Kruger National Park and around Cape Town promoting nature conservation and appreciating the sounds of nature, and leading outreach events at schools and in nature focused around the listening for life concepts of using, appreciating and leveraging the sounds of nature to promote conservation.
About Clare – (her website here )
I am a Cape Town born artist, inspired by wild nature and the importance of environmental & well being concerns.
My projects are aligned with the values I care about – resilience, participation, nurturing integrated, healthy biodiversity & people.
I work between scientists, environmentalists, educators, researchers, youth and communities creating visual bridges & interactive platforms.
Through creativity I host conversations: co-designing, and painting public murals with collaboration & partnerships.
